Stand Up Paddle boards
Stand Up Paddle boards (SUP) have been sweeping across the country, as yet another way to enjoy our waterways. Now you can try SUP boarding on the Rogue River.
The SUP board is a large surfboard and riders paddle it with a long, lightweight single-bladed paddle. The recent popularity of SUP is a result of cross training and flat water touring. You almost get the sensation of walking on water as you glide across the water while standing. One of the advantages on the River is the ease of paddling up and down calm pools.
At Morrison’s you can add SUP to your Rogue River Rafting day trip, or just paddle Taylor Canyon near the lodge.
