Other Area Attractions
Southern Oregon is home to a variety of attractions and activities. You will find world-class fishing, rafting rivers, mountains for skiing, biking and hiking, and green valleys that produce award-winning wines. It's also home to North America's deepest lake and Oregon's only National Park, Crater Lake.
From the valleys to the high desert, wildlife and nightlife share space. Southern Oregon is home to a pair of well-known attractions - the Britt Music Festival and Ashland's Oregon Shakespeare Festival - and to dozens of museums, art galleries, theaters, antique malls and tax-free shopping.
By adding a few of these attractions to your whitewater adventure you can extend your visit with some additional activities and make your visit to Southern Oregon and the Rogue River a multi adventure. We are close to many local area attractions. You will find some as close at 10 minutes and Crater Lake is only a 2 ½ hour drive on a beautiful scenic byway.
